Alumni Manager

Role Purpose

Build a connected and active Pi Jam alumni ecosystem for students from Grade 9 onwards, enabling them to continue learning, access opportunities, contribute to their communities, and stay connected to Pi Jam.

Key Responsibilities:-

- Alumni Community :- Build, track and actively engage the alumni network across multiple schools in the region; create pathways for alumni to mentor, volunteer and lead.
- Opportunities :- Build and maintain a curated repository of scholarships, internships, competitions, fellowships, higher-education and other relevant opportunities; enable alumni to access them.
- Ecosystem Partnerships :- Build relationships with colleges, incubators, makerspaces and other organisations to create meaningful opportunities for alumni and connect them back to schools.
- Alumni → Schools :- Engage alumni, college students and interns to support school activities, mentoring, Gully Gully Code and community events.
- Community Projects :- Identify promising student/alumni projects and help them access the people, spaces and resources needed to continue beyond the programme.
- Community Engagement :- Drive alumni participation in Gully Gully Code, showcases, meet-ups and other community activities, with increasing ownership by alumni themselves.




- Tracking & Learning :- Maintain an up-to-date alumni network and track participation, engagement, opportunities accessed and alumni contributions.

Primary Accountability

A healthy and active regional alumni ecosystem in which alumni continue to participate, access opportunities and contribute back to the Pi Jam ecosystem.

Success Measures

● Alumni participation and engagement across cohorts and schools

● Alumni accessing meaningful education, career and innovation opportunities

● Alumni returning as mentors, volunteers and community contributors

● Active external partnerships creating opportunities for alumni

● Community projects sustained beyond the original programme

Ideal Candidate

A robust community builder and ecosystem connector with 3–6 years of experience in youth programmes, alumni/community engagement, education, partnerships or a related field.

They should be highly relationship-oriented, organised, proactive, comfortable working across schools and communities, and able to turn partnerships into real opportunities and sustained participation.

Location: Pune | Experience: 4 - 6 years | Reports to: Project Lead

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Pune, Maharashtra (Pune, Pune District)
