We are looking for a responsible and energetic Assistant Store Manager to support the day-to-day operations of our retail store. The candidate will assist the Store Manager in managing staff, maintaining stock, ensuring excellent customer service, monitoring product quality and hygiene, and achieving store sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Store Manager in handling overall daily store operations.
- Supervise and coordinate store staff and ensure proper task allocation.
- Monitor staff attendance, discipline, grooming, and performance.
- Ensure excellent customer service and resolve customer queries or complaints professionally.
- Monitor daily sales and support the team in achieving sales targets.
- Coordinate with billing, stock, sales, housekeeping, security, and other store teams.
- Check stock availability and coordinate for timely replenishment of products.
- Monitor inventory and help reduce stock shortages, wastage, and product damage.
- Ensure proper display, pricing, labeling, and arrangement of products.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of the store.
- Ensure fresh products are properly handled and displayed according to quality standards.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures of the store.




- Prepare and maintain basic daily sales, stock, and operational reports.
- Support promotional activities, offers, and in-store campaigns.
- Handle store operations independently in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Ensure company policies and SOP are properly followed by the team.

Candidate Requirements

- Education: Graduate preferred.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in retail/store operations; supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience in Supermarket, Grocery, Fruits & Vegetables, Retail Store, or Hypermarket will be preferred.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Strong leadership and team-management abilities.
- Basic knowledge of billing, inventory, stock management, and MS Excel.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and work under pressure.
- Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays as per store requirements.
