Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled .NET Core Developer with 1-2 years of experience to join our development team. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, REST APIs, and application development, along with a good understanding of CQRS, SOLID principles, design principles, and performance tuning.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and optimizing scalable applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using .NET Core / ASP.NET Core and C#.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Implement application architecture using CQRS patterns and appropriate design principles.
- Apply SOLID principles, clean coding practices, and software design principles during development.
- Design and develop scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications.
- Work extensively with SQL Server, including database design, queries, stored procedures, views, functions, and data management.
- Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, indexing, and troubleshooting.
- Analyze application performance and identify areas for optimization.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot production and development issues and provide effective technical solutions.
- Collaborate with QA, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other development teams.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Contribute to technical discussions, solution design, estimation, and implementation planning.
- Write unit tests and ensure application quality and maintainability.
- Follow security, performance, scalability, and reliability best practices.

Required Technical Skills





.NET / Application Development

- 1+ years of hands-on experience in C# and .NET Core / ASP.NET Core.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Experience in developing enterprise-level applications.
- Good understanding of ASP.NET Core Web API / REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of Entity Framework Core and LINQ.
- Understanding and practical experience with CQRS patterns.
- Good understanding and application of SOLID principles.
- Strong understanding of software design principles and design patterns.
- Experience with exception handling, logging, configuration, dependency injection, and middleware.

SQL Server / Database Management

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Experience with database design and management.
- Knowledge of SQL query optimization and performance tuning.
- Ability to analyze execution plans and identify database performance bottlenecks.

Performance Tuning

- Experience identifying and resolving application and database performance issues.
- Knowledge of:
- SQL query optimization
- Index optimization
- API performance optimization
- Efficient database access
- Caching concepts
- Asynchronous programming
- Ability to perform root-cause analysis and implement performance improvements.

Agile Collaboration

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Valuable communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with developers, QA, BA, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
- Experience participating in sprint planning, estimation, code reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.

Good-to-Have Skills (Plus Points)

Cloud Platforms





- Basic exposure to Microsoft Azure or AWS cloud-native services.
- Familiarity with cloud-based application deployment and configuration.
- Hands-on exposure to Azure App Services is an added advantage.

Front-End

- Basic familiarity with modern front-end frameworks such as:
- Angular
- React
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Jquery and consuming REST APIs is needed.

DevOps

- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with source control and deployment processes.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps or similar DevOps tools is an advantage.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
