Supervisor – Housekeeping / Kitchen

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Supervisor – Housekeeping / kitchen to manage the day-to-day housekeeping, cooking, and domestic operations of a private residence in Bangalore. The position is suitable for a mature and responsible candidate with experience working in private residences or with reputed Indian/Malayali families, particularly families based overseas.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate housekeeping, cooking, laundry, and other domestic activities.
- Prepare and supervise preparation of Kerala/Malayali, South Indian, and North Indian cuisine.
- Plan daily meals based on family preferences and dietary requirements.
- Supervise domestic staff including housemaids, cooks, drivers, and other support staff.
- Allocate duties, monitor staff performance, and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, housekeeping, and household organisation.
- Manage groceries, kitchen supplies, cleaning materials, household inventory, and stock requirements.
- Coordinate with external vendors and maintenance personnel when required.
- Ensure proper preparation of the residence for guests, family visits, functions, and special occasions.
- Maintain professional conduct and strict confidentiality and privacy regarding the family and household.




- Coordinate household requirements with family members or authorised representatives, including when the principals are overseas.

Qualification & Experience

- Minimum Plus Two / Higher Secondary or equivalent.
- Diploma/Certificate in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Housekeeping, Food Production, Culinary Arts, or related field will be preferred.
- Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a private residence, luxury household, villa, hospitality establishment, or similar workplace.
- At least 2–3 years of experience in a supervisory/senior household role is preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of Kerala/Malayali and South Indian cuisine is essential; knowledge of North Indian cuisine will be an advantage.
- Experience managing household staff and residential operations is preferred.
- Experience working with Malayali/Indian business families or overseas-based families will be an added advantage.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be trustworthy, disciplined, well-groomed, organised, responsible, and service-oriented, with strong communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate must be capable of handling household responsibilities independently, maintaining high standards, and dealing with family members and staff with courtesy and professionalism.

Salary: As per experience and standards
Joining: Immediate / As per requirement

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
