Total Experience: Minimum 4 Years

Sector-Specific Experience: Minimum 3 Years in Automotive / Four Wheeler Service

Teaching / Training Experience: Minimum 1 Year

1. Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Four Wheeler Service Technician – Trainer to deliver technical and practical training in four-wheeler servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair. The candidate should have strong hands-on automotive service experience along with the ability to train and develop job-ready technicians.

2. Key Responsibilities

· Conduct theory and practical training on four-wheeler servicing, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.

· Demonstrate vehicle inspection, fault identification, preventive maintenance and repair procedures.

· Train learners on engine, clutch, transmission, braking, steering, suspension and cooling systems.

· Provide training on automotive electrical and electronic systems, battery, starting and charging systems.

· Train learners in basic vehicle diagnostics and the use of OBD/diagnostic tools.

· Demonstrate the correct use of hand tools, workshop equipment and diagnostic instruments.

· Supervise hands-on workshop practice and ensure proper service procedures are followed.

· Explain workshop safety, PPE, vehicle lifting procedures, tool safety and housekeeping standards.

· Prepare lesson plans, practical demonstrations,



assignments and assessments.

· Evaluate learner performance through theory tests, practical tests and skill demonstrations.

· Maintain attendance, training, assessment and learner-performance records.

· Identify learner skill gaps and provide additional coaching and practical guidance.

· Keep training content updated with current automotive service technologies and industry practices.

3. Technical Knowledge & Skills

· Strong practical knowledge of four-wheeler mechanical systems.

· Knowledge of engine servicing, clutch, transmission, braking, steering and suspension systems.

· Knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronic systems.

· Ability to identify vehicle faults and explain troubleshooting methods.

· Hands-on experience with automotive tools, service equipment and diagnostic scanners.

· Knowledge of preventive maintenance, periodic service and workshop procedures.

4. Teaching & Training Skills

· Minimum 1 year of teaching or training experience in an automotive or technical training environment.

· Ability to explain technical concepts clearly using practical examples.

· Strong demonstration, presentation and communication skills.





· Ability to conduct practical assessments and provide constructive feedback.

· Good classroom, workshop and learner-management skills.

5. Educational Qualification

I.T.I qualification in any one of the following: Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Motor Vehicle Mechanic.

6. Experience Criteria

· Total Experience: Minimum 4 Years.

· Sector-Specific Experience: Minimum 3 Years in the Automotive / Four Wheeler Service sector.

· Teaching / Training Experience: Minimum 1 Year.

· Maintain training quality, workshop safety and discipline.

· Develop learners' industry-relevant technical and practical skills.
