This is a full-time in office role for a Design Engineer at Orif Seals (Royal Seals Pvt Ltd) in Pathanamthitta district. The Design Engineer will be responsible for tasks related to design engineering in Autocad & Solid Works for Rubber, Plastic products and Metal components.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop moulds, dies, and tooling for rubber engineering components.
- Create and review 2D/3D designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure tooling designs are practical and efficient for manufacturing.
- Handle end-to-end tooling processes, from concept design to final validation.
- Modify and improve existing designs for better performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Assist the Quality Control (QC) team in inspection activities, including identifying products, verifying dimensions, and ensuring compliance with design specifications.
- Provide technical support in troubleshooting tooling, design, and quality-related issues.

Qualifications:





- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-7 years of experience in mould and die design (rubber/plastic/precision tooling preferred).
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes related to moulds and dies.
- Ability to assist in inspection and QC checks to maintain quality standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

- Hands-on knowledge of mould tooling for rubber components.
- Exposure to CNC machining processes will be an advantage.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Exposure to Google Workspace, Chatgpt, Claude

Pay: ₹23,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
