Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with 5+ years of expertise in Python, Golang, Java, and scripting technologies to build and support automation, data processing, and ingestion solutions across on-premises and cloud environments. The role requires hands-on experience with AWS, MySQL/Aurora, Apache Airflow, Hive, Agile methodologies, and SDLC processes. Strong problem-solving, production support, documentation, and communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop backend applications in python, Golang, Perl, java for automation, data transfer, processing and ingestion (Linux and Windows OS).
- Work in on-prem as well as cloud-based environments.
- Interact with databases such as MySQL, Aurora Write automated test cases for developed code.
- Provide production support and troubleshooting across multiple products on-prem and in cloud.
- Write code documentation and install guides.
- Highly motivated self-starter, detail oriented able to work independently.
- Always look out for ways to improve existing processes.
- Solid communication skills when responding to internal and external partners.

Required Skills

- 5+ years coding experience. (python, go-lang, java, bash, PowerShell, Perl +)




- Database knowledge such as MySQL and Aurora primarily, plus others (Oracle, Vertica, DB2).
- Knowledge and experience using Apache Airflow, Apache hive
- Knowledge and experience working in AWS environment (S3, EFS, EC2, EMR etc.), Agile framework and complete SDLC.
- Knowledge and experience using Jira and Confluence (or equivalent), source code repositories (git, bitbucket).

Preferred Skills

- Any ETL tool usage experience
- Experience in Openshift Containerization Platform and Kubernetes cluster across the cloud platforms
- Experience with Azure
