Looking for a Tender Executive

Location - Phase 8 B, Mohali

A Tender Executive in the manufacturing industry manages the end-to-end bidding process for government (GeM, CPPP), PSU, and private contracts. They search for relevant business opportunities, analyse technical and commercial requirements, prepare precise bid documents, and coordinate with internal production and logistics teams to submit competitive proposals on time. The candidate should have solid knowledge of e-tendering portals, documentation, commercial and technical bid preparation, and post-award coordination.

Key Responsibilities

- Tender Sourcing: Monitor portals like GeM (Government e-Marketplace), CPPP, and state e-procurement sites daily for relevant manufacturing product bids.
- Bid Preparation: Review tender terms, technical specs, and eligibility criteria to compile accurate techno-commercial proposals.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with production, pricing, quality control, and dispatch teams to gather product compliance sheets, test certificates, and cost estimates.




- Financial Instruments: Arrange Earnest Money Deposit (EMD), Bank Guarantees (BG), and tender fees as required.
- Post-Bid Follow-Up: Track bid status, manage reverse auctions, handle clarifications, and coordinate post-award contract execution.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

- Education: Graduate degree in any discipline (Commerce, Business, or Engineering preferred).
- Portal Knowledge: Hands-on experience with GeM and e-procurement platforms.
- Analytical Skills: Strong ability to dissect complex legal and technical tender documents.
- Communication: Clear written and verbal skills for client and department liaison.
- Software Proficiency: Good command of MS Office (Excel for pricing sheets and Word for proposals)
