Key Responsibilities:

- Manage and supervise complete production activities during the assigned shift.
- Lead operators, technicians, supervisors and other production personnel.
- Ensure production is achieved as per the daily/monthly production plan and quality requirements.
- Monitor plant/process parameters and take immediate corrective action for abnormalities.
- Troubleshoot operational problems and minimize production delays, downtime and process losses.
- Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality Control, Electrical, Mechanical and Safety departments.
- Maintain shift-wise records of production, downtime, delays, raw-material consumption and other process parameters.
- Prepare and communicate shift production reports to senior management.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, equipment, raw materials and energy.
- Maintain discipline and effective manpower deployment within the shift.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, work permits, safety procedures and environmental requirements.




- Conduct toolbox meetings and provide guidance/training to operators and technicians.
- Monitor product quality and coordinate with QC whenever quality deviations occur.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to improve productivity and quality.
- Ensure proper shift handover with complete information regarding production, equipment condition and pending issues.
- Drive continuous improvement, cost reduction and operational efficiency.

Qualification & Experience:

- Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy or a related engineering discipline.
- 2–3+ years of relevant experience in steel manufacturing/production operations.

Pay: ₹25,146.83 - ₹50,477.18 per month
