About the Role

We are looking for a creative and technically strong Landscape Architect to design and execute premium landscaping and outdoor environments for our farmhouse plotting and real estate projects.

The ideal candidate should have experience in landscape planning, site development, plantation design, contour-based planning, outdoor amenities, and sustainable landscape solutions, with the ability to work closely with architects, civil engineers, surveyors and site teams.

Key Responsibilities1. Landscape & Master Planning

- Develop landscape concepts for farmhouse plot developments and gated communities.
- Prepare landscape master plans considering existing contours, natural terrain, vegetation, views and drainage.
- Design attractive green spaces while maintaining the natural character of hill and countryside locations.
- Integrate landscaping with internal roads, plots, entrances, amenities and common areas.
- Plan spaces such as gardens, walking trails, gazebos, viewing decks, children's play areas and recreational zones.

2. Plantation & Greenery Planning

- Prepare detailed plantation plans for trees, shrubs, flowering plants and ground covers.
- Select species suitable for the local climate, soil conditions and water availability.
- Plan avenue plantation along internal roads and boundary plantation.
- Develop low-maintenance and sustainable landscape solutions.
- Incorporate native and locally suitable species wherever possible.

3. Contour & Natural Terrain

- Understand and utilize contour survey data for landscape planning.
- Design landscapes that work naturally with sloping and undulating terrain.
- Minimize unnecessary cutting and filling of land.
- Plan erosion-control and soil-retention solutions for sloped areas.
- Identify opportunities to preserve existing trees, natural rocks, water channels and scenic viewpoints.

4. Outdoor Amenities





Design and detail landscaping for:

- Grand entrance areas
- Landscaped gardens
- Gazebos
- Viewing decks
- Walking and nature trails
- Children's play areas
- Seating areas
- BBQ zones
- Swimming pool surroundings
- Clubhouse landscape
- Open recreational spaces
- Tree-lined internal roads
- Project boundary green belts

5. Technical Drawings & Documentation

- Prepare landscape layout drawings and detailed working drawings.
- Prepare plantation plans, irrigation layouts and softscape/hardscape details.
- Prepare BOQs and material specifications.
- Prepare 2D plans, sections and landscape details.
- Coordinate with civil and architectural drawings.
- Review contractor/shop drawings where required.

6. Site Execution & Supervision

- Conduct regular site visits to monitor landscape execution.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved designs and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, nursery suppliers and site engineers.
- Inspect plantation, paving, lawn, irrigation and outdoor structures.
- Monitor quality, quantities and workmanship.
- Suggest practical solutions for site-level design challenges.

7. Cost & Vendor Coordination

- Prepare landscape estimates and BOQs.
- Assist in vendor and nursery selection.
- Compare quotations and materials.
- Ensure landscaping remains within the approved project budget.
- Coordinate procurement of plants, landscape materials and outdoor elements.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture / Architecture / Horticulture / relevant field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Experience in real estate, plotted developments, resorts, farmhouses or hospitality projects will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of landscape design,



plantation and site planning.
- Ability to read contour surveys and site plans.
- Knowledge of local plant species and landscape materials.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
- Knowledge of SketchUp, Lumion, 3ds Max, Photoshop, Revit or other visualization software will be an advantage.

Preferred Candidate Profile

We are particularly interested in candidates who:

- Have a solid aesthetic sense and understand premium/luxury landscape design.
- Can design landscapes that complement natural hill terrain rather than overpowering it.
- Understand farmhouse, resort and plotted development environments.
- Can convert concepts into practical, executable site designs.
- Are comfortable travelling to project sites in Velhe / Rajgad and surrounding areas.
- Can independently handle a landscape project from concept → drawings → BOQ → execution.
- Have good coordination skills with architects, civil engineers, contractors and management.

Compensation

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month, depending on experience, skills and portfolio.

Experience: 0.5–1 years preferred.
