We are looking for an experienced *CNC Machine Service Engineer* responsible for installation, troubleshooting, repair, programming diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and commissioning of CNC machines at customer sites.

The engineer should be capable of independently diagnosing *mechanical, electrical, electronic, CNC control, PLC, servo drive, and programming-related faults* and restoring machines to normal operation with minimum downtime.

Key Responsibilities

- Installation, commissioning, testing, and servicing of CNC machines.
- Diagnose and repair CNC machine breakdowns at customer sites.
- Troubleshoot -electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Troubleshoot CNC controllers including -Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Heidenhain, or similar systems.
- Diagnose -PLC program and ladder logic faults, including I/O signals, interlocks, sensors, relays, limit switches, and sequence problems.
- Perform CNC program troubleshooting, including program alarms, incorrect machine movements, tool change sequences, spindle commands, offsets, parameters, and machine cycles.
- Troubleshoot servo motors, servo drives, spindle drives, encoders, feedback systems, and communication faults.
- Check and troubleshoot machine parameters and controller settings.
- Perform PLC/CNC program backup and restoration when required.
- Upload/download and safely back up machine parameters, PLC programs, CNC programs, and relevant machine data before carrying out modifications.
- Diagnose communication issues between CNC controllers, PLCs, drives, HMIs, and peripheral equipment.
- Identify machine alarms and perform root-cause analysis rather than only resetting alarms.
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Perform machine geometry, alignment, backlash, lubrication, and mechanical condition checks where required.
- Replace and configure faulty electrical/electronic components.




- Support customers remotely and through on-site visits.
- Maintain detailed service reports covering faults identified, corrective actions, spare parts used, and recommendations.
- Recommend necessary spare parts and preventive actions to reduce future breakdowns.
- Provide technical support and basic operational guidance to customers.
- Coordinate with manufacturers/OEM technical teams for complex troubleshooting when necessary.

Required Technical Skills

Robust hands-on knowledge of:

- CNC machine troubleshooting and repair
- CNC programming and program troubleshooting
- PLC troubleshooting and ladder logic
- Fanuc / Siemens / Mitsubishi / Heidenhain CNC controls
- Servo and spindle drives
- AC/DC motors and encoders
- VFDs and servo amplifiers
- Electrical drawings and circuit diagrams
- Sensors, relays, contactors, proximity switches and I/O systems
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- CNC machine parameters and diagnostics
- CNC/PLC program and parameter backup
- Mechanical troubleshooting and machine alignment
- Preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance

Experience & Qualification

- Diploma / Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Preferably 3–5+ years of hands-on CNC machine service experience.
- Experience servicing different brands and types of CNC machines is preferred.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot machines at customer sites.
- UAE/GCC experience will be an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving licence will be an advantage.

Preferred Machine Experience

Experience with multiple CNC machine types will be preferred, including:

CNC Turning Centers CNC Milling Machines VMC HMC CNC Lathes CNC Grinding Machines CNC Boring Machines Multi-axis CNC Machines.

Key Requirement

The candidate must be a hands-on service engineer, capable of identifying the root cause of CNC machine problems and resolving mechanical, electrical, PLC, CNC control, and program-related faults independently, rather than depending only on OEM support.
