Senior Developer – Java with Sterling OMS

Location: Chennai
Work Mode: Chennai(WFO) 5 Days
Experience: 5+ Years

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java 8/11/17+ and J2EE.
- Apply solid Object-Oriented Design principles in application development.
- Develop and maintain microservices using Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Configure and customize IBM Sterling OMS solutions.
- Work with Sterling OMS APIs, User Exits, Agents, and Pipelines.
- Implement event-driven integrations using Apache Kafka, IBM MQ, and RabbitMQ.
- Develop and integrate REST/SOAP APIs.
- Work on OMS-related business workflows and integrations.
- Support order processing, inventory management, sourcing, and fulfilment processes.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to deliver scalable OMS solutions.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of experience in Java development.
- Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17+ and J2EE.




- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Strong configuration and customization experience with IBM Sterling OMS.
- Experience with Sterling OMS APIs, User Exits, Agents, and Pipelines.
- Manhattan OMS experience is an added advantage.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, IBM MQ, and RabbitMQ.
- Good knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs.
- Strong understanding of Order Management Systems (OMS).
- Practical experience with order processing, inventory management, sourcing logic, and fulfilment systems.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
