POSITION: IT ADMIN ASSISTANT / CCTV

As a IT ADMIN ASSISTANT / CCTV, you will be responsible for undertaking various preplanned and reactive maintenance tasks. IT Admin works, and new installation works encompassing either, CCTV, Access Control, Security Systems equipment. You will take responsibility for all assigned projects from commencement to completion. You will be required to work on several projects and have the ability to multi task and plan critical requests from Clients.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

- Installation, servicing / maintenance, testing, commissioning of Intruder Alarm Systems – IP Surveillance Systems and Access Control Systems or related equipment, following drawing of electrical layouts and building plans in accordance with NSI and relevant Codes of Practice/Policies.
- Installation, servicing / maintenance, testing of Disabled Refuge, Public Address, Call System & Induction Loops in accordance with relevant British Standard and other relevant Codes of Practice/Policies.
- Providing a quality installation in the most methodical and efficient manner, including the ability to digest detailed scope of works and working drawings.
- Liaising with ARC (Alarm receiving centres).
- Responsible for Network management, switches, and servers.




- Responsible for IT Admin and IT Security activities.
- Maintaining safe work environment at all times and have a good understanding of Health and Safety i.e. Method, Risk assessments, safe working procedures etc.
- Client training and demonstration of systems to explain the systems working and functionality.
- Responding to out of hours service calls.

Technical Competencies – Essential

- Demonstrate at least 3 years previous experience in a Systems Security role.
- Relevant exp in IT Admin and IT Security activities.
- Demonstrate a general knowledge of all Security Systems.
- Demonstrate solid communication skills.
- Sound administration skills with an understanding of the importance of paperwork and the accuracy and timeliness of submission of same.
- Graduation in IT Systems.

Technical Competencies - Desirable

- Knowledge of IP Systems / Networking is preferable.
- Knowledge of any of the following Intruder Alarms, Access control, CCTV and Intercom using a range of equipment including: Paxton, Honeywell, Texecom , Bosch, Hikvision.
- Manufacturers training for any of the following: Paxton, Honeywell, Texecom , Bosch, Hikvision.
