OVERVIEW
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team in Bandra. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience editing videos for social media platforms and a strong understanding of video formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific requirements.
Key responsibilities:
- Edit videos for social media platforms, digital campaigns, ads, and brand content
- Understand and work with different video formats, resolutions, and aspect ratios across platforms
- Create platform-optimized content for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other social media channels
- Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to interpret briefs and creative direction
- Add basic motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, and subtitles when required
- Ensure timely delivery of projects while maintaining quality and brand consistency
Skills and Qualifications required:
- 1+ year of professional experience as a Video Editor
- Strong video portfolio/showreel showcasing relevant work (mandatory)
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects (Final Cut Pro is a plus)
- Good understanding of video formats, codecs, resolutions, and social media specifications Experience working within a social media content setup (agency or in-house)
- Basic to good command of English, both written and spoken
- Strong attention to detail and ability to incorporate feedback effectively
- Someone who understands social media trends and short-form video content
- A team player with clear communication skills
- A proactive learner with a creative mindset
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Bandra West, Mumbai, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
