Content Strategist - Sejcurates

Sejcurates (@sejcurates on Instagram and YouTube) tells business stories, manufacturing processes, D2C brands, consumer trends, and marketing strategy reels, breaking down how things are actually made, why brands win or lose, and what's shaping consumer behaviour in India.

We're expanding the team and hiring a Content Strategist.

This isn't a role for someone who runs a topic through ChatGPT and calls it a script. We need someone who can take technical, industry-heavy subjects and turn them into something clear, punchy, and genuinely binge-worthy for a layman audience.

What You'll Do

- Research and ideate- dig into reports, chase source articles, and find the sharpest angle on a topic before writing a single line
- Write and visualise scripts for both organic content and brand collabs, built around hooks that land in the first three seconds and structure that keeps people watching till the end. Should have a vision on how the final output would look like visually.
- Own the video through to final cut- this isn't a "hand off the script and disappear" role. You'll work closely with the editor while the video is being made, shaping pacing and story on the edit, not just on paper




- Spot reuse in the raw footage- go through extra rolls from shoots and figure out what can be cut into additional reels, shorts, or standalone stories, so one shoot stretches into more content
- Valuable hold on both English and Hindi - you'll be writing and thinking in both

Who You Are

- Know what makes a hook land in the first three seconds, and punch lines that follows
- Can structure a script so people don't drop off halfway
- Genuinely curious- you'd rather read the source report than skim a summary
- Comfortable working iteratively with an editor rather than writing in isolation
- 1+ years of experience

Location & Travel

Mumbai-based candidates preferred. Should be okay with occasional travel for factory and founder shoots (fully paid).
