We are seeking an experienced Shipbuilding Design Consulting Specialist with 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience to drive digital transformation, design delivery, and platform support within the Hull & Structure domain. In this role, you will bridge marine structural design, manufacturing, and drafting workflows with up-to-date software platforms to optimize layout efficiency and enhance shipyard operations.

Key Responsibilities & Day-to-Day Activities:

- Design & Workflow Delivery: Execute end-to-end Hull Structure Design, space allocation, accommodation, and steel outfitting, aligning legacy design practices with digital tools.
- 3DEXPERIENCE Integration: Implement best-practice methodologies for Nesting software integration (ALMA) and Spool Drawing generation based on out-of-the-box (OOTB) platform capabilities.
- Platform Administration & Infrastructure: Oversee 3DEXPERIENCE administration, including user creation, attribute setup, proactive maintenance, system backups, and infrastructure troubleshooting.
- Structural Calculations & Automation: Perform and automate hull structural calculations (Hull Girder, Midship Section, Bulkhead, Forebody, and Tank design) while maintaining compliance with LRS, ABS, IRS, and DNV standards.
- Training & Leadership: Lead platform implementation and adoption across cross-functional teams,



prepare documentation, and deliver technical training to designers.
- Engineering Support & Proposals: Assist in proposal engineering, cost estimation, and software customization evaluations.

Service Level & Support Expectations:

- Respond to technical queries and user issues within 2 business days.
- Resolve standard Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) functionality issues within 3 working days.
- Report platform bugs and escalate complex service requests directly to DS R&D.;
- Assess custom configuration requirements to provide clear effort and timeline estimates.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- Education: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, or Electrical).
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of professional experience in Shipbuilding Design Consulting.
- Domain Expertise: Demonstrated success in marine structural design, 3D CAD modeling, drafting manufacturing drawings, and plate-cutting code generation.
- Software Tools: CATIA V6, ENOVIA, DELMIA, and 3DEXPERIENCE Platform.

Nice to Have:

- Development skills in EKL (Enterprise Knowledge Language).

Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
