POSITION

Principal – Engineering College

ELIGIBILITY & QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates must fulfill the eligibility and qualification requirements prescribed by AICTE and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University (DBATU), as applicable from time to time.

Preference will be given to candidates having:

- Ph.D. in Engineering/Technology in an appropriate discipline.
- Robust academic credentials and relevant teaching/research experience.
- Appropriate Professor/Associate Professor-level experience, as prescribed under applicable AICTE/University norms.
- Significant experience in academic administration and institutional leadership.
- Experience in handling AICTE, DBATU/DTE, NAAC/NBA and other statutory/regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated contribution to research, publications, innovation and academic development.
- Strong leadership, communication, team-management and institutional development skills.
- Candidates meeting the applicable AICTE, DBATU, UGC and Government of Maharashtra norms for appointment as Principal will be considered.

Note: Appointment and eligibility shall be subject to the latest applicable AICTE regulations, DBATU statutes/regulations, Government of Maharashtra rules and other competent authority norms.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES





- Provide strong academic and administrative leadership to the institution.
- Ensure compliance with AICTE, DBATU/DTE and other statutory requirements.
- Lead academic planning, faculty development and student-related initiatives.
- Strengthen NAAC/NBA accreditation and quality-assurance processes.
- Promote research, innovation, industry interaction and placement activities.
- Oversee institutional administration, infrastructure and human-resource management.
- Develop strategic initiatives for the overall growth and reputation of the college.
