UBSC is looking for a senior Mechanical Engineering professional to lead multiple MEP project teams and provide technical oversight across Mechanical services.
Mandatory Expertise
* Strong, hands-on HVAC design experience
* Central chilled-water plants and pumping systems
* Large commercial developments and hotels
* Heat-load calculations and equipment selection
* Plant-room planning, ventilation and smoke management
* HVAC controls, BMS and energy optimisation
* Complete project lifecycle—from Concept to GFC, execution and handover
* Overall review of Mechanical services, including PHE/plumbing and fire protection
* Experience leading Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities
* Lead Mechanical design and project delivery across multiple teams.
* Personally review critical HVAC designs, calculations and system selections.
* Review overall Mechanical strategy, coordination and constructability.
* Lead complex, critical and fast-track projects.
* Conduct technical and quality reviews of DBRs, drawings, specifications, BOQs and tender documents.
* Mentor Project Managers and develop second-line technical leaders.
* Lead client, architect and PMC meetings.
* Resolve technical and client escalations within committed timelines.
* Ensure design quality, timely delivery and billing milestone achievement.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a decisive, responsive and technically hands-on leader who provides transparent guidance, takes ownership and performs effectively under project pressure.
Candidates must demonstrate independent leadership of large commercial or hotel projects and substantial central chilled-water-system experience.
