Responsibilities

Wireless & Protocol Validation

Validate BLE (GATT, GAP, pairing/bonding) and Wi-Fi provisioning, roaming, and co-existence
Test MQTT delivery, QoS levels, and AWS IoT Core integration
Validate Matter commissioning and device interoperability
Verify SPI, I2C, UART driver behaviour and edge cases
OTA & Bootloader

Validate OTA flows via MCUboot and TI OAD — including rollback and interrupted update scenarios
Verify firmware signature checks and anti-rollback protections in the secure boot chain
Security Validation

Test secure boot chain, TrustZone key storage, and secure element access controls
Execute anti-tamper scenarios and assess alignment with UL 2900 and NIST IoT guidelines
Power & Performance

Measure power consumption across sleep, idle, active, and radio-on states
Validate battery life projections and RTOS task timing under load
Hardware Lab & Automation

Execute tests on physical TI, Nordic, STM, Renesas, and Silicon Labs targets using JTAG/SWD and logic analysers
Capture BLE sniffer and Wireshark traces for protocol validation
Develop Python automation scripts integrated into Jenkins and AWS CodePipelines

Requirements

Languages & Frameworks





Python —robust experience in programming with Python and preferably in test automation scripts.
C/C++ — test harness and driver-level work
Experience in firmware development using FreeRTOS, TI RTOS — task scheduling and interrupt handling concepts
Wireless & Connectivity

BLE — GATT, GAP, pairing, bonding, advertising
Wi-Fi 802.11 — provisioning, roaming, co-existence testing
MQTT, Matter — protocol-level validation experience
SPI, I2C, UART — wired protocol debugging with logic analysers

Hardware & Debug Tools

Hands-on experience with TI, Nordic Semiconductor, STMicro, Renesas, or Silicon Labs platforms
JTAG/SWD debuggers, logic analysers, BLE sniffers, Wireshark
MCUboot, TI OAD — OTA and bootloader validation
GCC, TI Clang toolchains

Pay: ₹1,505,122.41 - ₹1,792,758.72 per year
