Accountant – CA Firm

Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹22,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for an Accountant to join our CA firm in Dalhousie, Kolkata. The candidate should have practical knowledge of GST, TDS, and Audit and be able to independently handle day-to-day accounting and compliance work.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain day-to-day accounts and accounting records.
- Handle GST return preparation, reconciliation, and related compliance work.
- Handle TDS calculation, deduction, return filing, and reconciliation.
- Assist in audit assignments, including preparation and verification of financial records.
- Perform bank, ledger, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
- Coordinate with clients for required documents and information.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and tax requirements.
- Support senior accountants/CA in various assignments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- B.Com / M.Com / equivalent qualification preferred.
- 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
- Practical knowledge of:
- GST
- TDS
- Audit




- Accounting and reconciliation
- Knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime preferred.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel.
- Valuable attention to detail and ability to meet compliance deadlines.
- Candidates with experience in a CA firm will be preferred.

Salary

₹18,000 – ₹22,000 per month, depending on experience and skills.

Dalhousie, Kolkata

Immediate joiners / candidates with short notice periods will be preferred.
