· Develop and modify garment patterns according to client requirements, tech packs, measurement charts, and approved samples.

· Prepare patterns for different styles, fabrics, sizes, and garment constructions.

· Ensure proper measurements, fitting, balance, shape, seam allowance, notches, grain lines, and pattern accuracy.

· Study client specifications carefully and make necessary pattern corrections as per comments and fitting requirements.

· Conduct pattern checking and ensure the final pattern matches the approved sample.

· Prepare size-wise patterns and support grading requirements where applicable.

· Coordinate with the sampling, merchandising, production, and quality teams regarding pattern-related issues.

· Work closely with the Cutting Master and clearly explain the pattern, fabric direction, grain line, placement, notches, seam allowance, and other key markings.

· Ensure the Cutting Master understands the correct marker placement, pattern arrangement, fabric direction, checks/stripes matching, panels, and cutting requirements.





· Check and approve markers before cutting to minimize fabric wastage and cutting mistakes.

· Explain critical pattern points to the cutting team, including matching points, drill marks, pocket positions, pleats, darts, gathers, and construction references.

· Visit the cutting section when required to verify that patterns and markings are being followed correctly.

· Identify and resolve pattern-related problems during cutting and production.

· Maintain proper records of approved patterns, revisions, measurements, and client comments.

· Ensure pattern changes are communicated properly to the relevant departments.

· Support production in resolving fitting, construction, and measurement issues.

· Ensure all final patterns are properly labeled, organized, and ready for bulk production.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
