Job Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team and produce engaging, high-quality video content for social media, digital platforms, and brand websites.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of video editing, visual storytelling, post-production, social media content formats, and platform-specific video requirements. You will work closely with the strategy and creative teams to transform ideas and briefs into compelling visual content that aligns with brand objectives and campaign goals.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Create short-form and long-form video content for social media platforms, digital channels, and brand websites.
- Edit engaging content such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, vertical videos, promotional videos, brand films, long-form features, customer stories, and campaign content.
- Plan and execute visual ideas that communicate clear, engaging, and relevant stories through video.
- Understand creative briefs and translate concepts, campaign objectives, and brand requirements into effective video content.
- Handle the video post-production process, including editing, sequencing, pacing, transitions, music, subtitles, sound, visual effects, and other enhancements where required.
- Create and adapt videos into platform-specific formats and aspect ratios for social media and professional networks.
- Repurpose existing video assets into multiple formats and versions suited to different digital platforms and audience requirements.
- Use motion graphics, text animation, transitions, visual effects,



and other post-production techniques to enhance video quality and viewer engagement.
- Ensure videos maintain strong visual storytelling, pacing, composition, brand consistency, and overall production quality.
- Collaborate closely with the strategy, creative, content, and marketing teams to understand requirements and deliver videos that achieve campaign and communication objectives.
- Work on multiple video projects simultaneously while maintaining timelines, quality standards, and brand guidelines.
- Incorporate feedback and manage revisions and re-edits efficiently to deliver the expected final output.
- Stay updated with video editing trends, social media formats, platform-specific content styles, editing techniques, motion graphics, and emerging visual trends.
- Organize project files, footage, assets, exports, and working files efficiently to maintain a smooth post-production workflow.
- Ensure all final video deliverables meet the required technical specifications, quality standards, brand guidelines, and platform requirements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 0–2 years of experience as a Video Editor, Video Editing Intern, or in a similar video production/post-production role.




- Strong working knowledge of industry-standard video editing and post-production software, including:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- DaVinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of video editing principles, visual storytelling, pacing, transitions, sound, subtitles, motion graphics, and post-production workflows.
- Good understanding of social media video formats, audience engagement, platform-specific content requirements, and current video content trends.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and convert concepts into visually engaging video content.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, visual sense, and storytelling ability.
- Ability to work collaboratively with creative and strategy teams and respond positively to feedback.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced creative workplace.

Preferred

- Familiarity with motion graphics, animation, sound design, basic colour correction, and visual effects.
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating short-form videos, social media content, brand videos, storytelling, editing creativity, and motion graphics will be an advantage.
