About Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vulnerability Management Analyst to join our dynamic and growing team. As a Vulnerability Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our organizations critical information assets. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, assess, prioritize, pursue remediation efforts with system owners, and report on cyber threats.

What You'll Do:

- Vulnerability Management: Monitor, analyze, and respond to vulnerabilities and zero-day events using security monitoring platforms.
- Risk assessment: Identify, aggregate, categorize,



and validate vulnerabilities from security monitoring platforms vetting accuracy, applicability and assessing the risk posed by those findings within the environment.
- Coordinator: Coordinate mitigation and remediation strategies with IT and application stakeholders to ensure timely mitigation and remediation of vulnerabilities.
- Process Development: Develop and enforce vulnerability security procedures and guidelines to enhance the process to meet or exceed SLAs.
- Solution Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and maintain security solutions, ensuring these solutions align with industry best practices and compliance requirements.
- Project Management: Participate in vulnerability management security-related projects, ensuring that project goals, timelines, and deliverables are achieved.
- Effectively manage project resources and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive security documentation, including procedures, guidelines, technical diagrams, and presenting program statistics (reporting).

Expertise You'll Bring:

- Minimum of 5 to 8 Years experience in vulnerability management processing and/or technologies.
- Primary experience using Tenable, or other vulnerability detection technologies.
- Experience using Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIPs) and other public data sources to proactively identify emerging threats.
- Certifications such as Network+, Security+, CEH Excellent understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security technologies.
- Experience with Common Vulnerability Scoring System (CVSS) applying temporal and environmental factors to recalculate severities.
- Working knowledge of categories and impact of application vulnerabilities, e.g., OWASP 10 or CWE 25.




- Working knowledge of secure configuration standards, e.g., CIS or STIGs Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security issues and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively communicate complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Educational background relevant to the role and its technical domain.
