POCKET JOURNEY is a travel company offering domestic and international holiday packages, flight and train ticketing, visa assistance, travel insurance, customized tours, honeymoon packages, group tours, and other travel services.

We are looking for a Tour Consultant & Ticketing Executive who is passionate about travel, customer service, sales, and creating memorable travel experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Consult with customers to understand their travel requirements, preferences, and budget.
- Design and recommend suitable domestic and international tour packages.
- Prepare customized itineraries and travel quotations.
- Handle customer enquiries through phone, WhatsApp, social media, and direct visits.
- Promote and sell holiday packages, flight tickets, and other travel services.
- Handle airline ticket booking and issuance through GDS systems.
- Manage ticket rebooking, cancellations, refunds, and related airline requirements.
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other travel suppliers.
- Follow up with leads and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Maintain proper records of customer enquiries, bookings, payments, and follow-ups.
- Assist customers before, during, and after their trips.
- Achieve assigned monthly sales targets.
- Support the team in promoting travel packages and generating new leads.

Requirements

- Previous experience in tour consulting, travel sales, or airline ticketing is preferred.
- Knowledge of GDS / airline reservation systems is an advantage.
- Good knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations.
- Strong communication and customer-handling skills.
- Good knowledge of English; Malayalam proficiency is preferred.




- Ability to prepare travel quotations and itineraries.
- Good sales and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new destinations, travel products, and booking systems.

Compensation & Incentives

Monthly Salary: ₹12,000
Probation Period: 1 month
Probation Salary: ₹10,000
Incentive: 15% per booking, with higher incentive potential upon achieving the monthly target of ₹75,000

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, target-oriented, confident in communicating with customers, and genuinely interested in the travel industry. The ideal candidate should be able to turn travel enquiries into successful bookings while providing excellent customer service.
