Job Title: Pantry Steward / Food & Beverage Steward
Department: Pantry / Cafeteria / Food & Beverage

Reporting To: Pantry Supervisor / F&B; Manager / Facility Manager
Location: Gachibowli, Hyderabad
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Pantry / Food & Beverage Steward with hands-on experience in serving tea, coffee, snacks, and meals, and in making food arrangements for staff and guests. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a hotel, restaurant, corporate cafeteria, or similar food-service environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve tea, coffee, and other beverages as per standard recipes and guest/employee preferences.
- Set up pantry counters, buffet stations, meeting rooms, and dining areas before service.
- Arrange and replenish food items, snacks, fruits, beverages, and condiments during service hours.
- Ensure timely service of meals, snacks, and beverages for employees, visitors, and meeting attendees.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pantry, kitchen, serving counters, dining areas, wash areas, and storage spaces.
- Wash, sanitize, and store utensils, crockery, cutlery, glassware, trays, and serving equipment.
- Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, coffee machines, tea urns, water dispensers, and other pantry equipment.
- Monitor stock levels of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, snacks, disposables, and other consumables; raise requirements in advance.
- Follow FIFO (First-In-First-Out) for all food and beverage items and check for expiry dates.
- Adhere to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
- Assist in setting up and clearing buffets for meetings, events, and special occasions.
- Coordinate with the kitchen, facility team, and vendors for smooth food and beverage operations.
- Attend to employee and guest requests related to pantry and F&B; service in a courteous and timely manner.
- Maintain daily logs for pantry service, stock usage, wastage, and any incidents or complaints.
- Follow all safety, health, and company policies and procedures.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Eligibility and Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on experience as a Steward / Pantry Boy / F&B; Steward / Room Boy in a hotel, restaurant, corporate cafeteria, or similar setup.
- Hotel or hospitality experience is preferred.
- Experience in serving tea, coffee, beverages, snacks, and meals in a high-volume environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices.
- Familiarity with pantry equipment such as coffee machines, tea urns, dishwashers, and water dispensers.
- Good communication skills and a polite, customer-service oriented attitude.
- Ability to work in shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as required.
- Physically fit and able to stand for long hours, lift trays, and handle repetitive tasks.
