Role

We are looking for a Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for our SPM manufacturing division, ensuring timely availability of materials and components at competitive prices.

Key Responsibilities

- Source and procure mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and automation components.
- Obtain quotations, prepare comparisons and negotiate price, delivery and payment terms.
- Release Purchase Orders and follow up with vendors for on-time delivery.
- Procure raw materials, bearings, motors, gearboxes, pneumatics, PLCs, sensors, fasteners and machine components.
- Coordinate outsourced processes such as machining,



fabrication, heat treatment, plating and painting.
- Develop alternate vendors and maintain vendor performance records.
- Coordinate with Design, Production, Stores, Quality and Accounts.
- Track pending POs, material shortages and critical long-lead items.
- Support cost reduction and maintain purchase price history.

Requirements

- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Supply Chain or related field.
- 2–5 years of purchasing experience in SPM, machine tools, automation or engineering manufacturing preferred.
- Good negotiation, vendor management, Excel and follow-up skills.
- Basic understanding of engineering drawings, BOMs and manufacturing processes.
