The Role

We're looking for a Production Merchandiser to own the production lifecycle: fabric procurement, order processing, inventory and quality control. You'll manage merchandisers, cutting masters and a tailoring unit, keep production moving on time and hold the quality bar across every piece.

Responsibilities

- Team management. Lead merchandisers, cutting masters and tailors. Assign work, set priorities, and keep workflows tight.
- Fabric procurement. Source and buy fabric on quality and cost. Check incoming fabric, log it and track usage against inventory.
- Production coordination. Run order processing end to end. Allocate work across cutting and tailoring and hold the timeline.
- Inventory and orders. Maintain accurate records for fabric and finished pieces. Track production progress and report stock levels.
- Quality control. Check quality at every stage against Saphed's standards. Catch issues early and resolve them fast.
- Process. Streamline production to cut waste and improve output.



Build and maintain SOPs for production and supply chain.
- Vendor coordination. Manage suppliers and vendors for fabric and other production needs.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Textile Management, Production or a related field.
- 5+ years in production or supply chain, preferably in textiles.
- 3+ years leading teams, including cutting masters and tailors.
- Robust grasp of fabrics, stitching processes and production workflows.
- Solid organisational, leadership and multitasking skills.
- Comfortable with inventory management tools and software.
- High attention to detail and a problem-solving instinct.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
