Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Spare Parts Manager to manage the complete spare parts operations for our Toyota 4-wheeler dealership in Guwahati. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimum parts availability, inventory management, timely procurement, sales performance, and smooth coordination with the Service, Sales and Accounts teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day operations of the Spare Parts Department.
- Ensure adequate availability of genuine Toyota spare parts as per workshop and customer requirements.
- Plan and monitor spare parts procurement, ordering and replenishment.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels and minimize stock-outs, excess inventory and obsolete parts.
- Monitor parts sales, gross profit, targets and overall departmental performance.
- Coordinate closely with the Service Department to ensure timely availability of parts for repair and maintenance jobs.
- Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving and non-moving inventory and take corrective actions.
- Ensure proper receiving, storage, identification and issuing of spare parts.
- Maintain accurate stock records and conduct regular physical stock audits.
- Monitor parts inward and outward transactions and ensure system accuracy.
- Handle special orders and customer requirements efficiently.
- Coordinate with Toyota/Principal company and approved vendors for parts availability and supply.
- Ensure proper billing, documentation and compliance with dealership processes.
- Control departmental expenses and improve overall profitability.
- Lead, supervise and train the Spare Parts team.
- Set individual targets and monitor team performance.
- Ensure adherence to Toyota standards, dealership SOPs and safety guidelines.




- Resolve customer and internal department concerns related to spare parts.
- Prepare and submit regular MIS reports on inventory, sales, purchases, ageing and departmental performance.
- Work closely with Accounts and Management for reconciliation, payments and financial control.

Candidate Profile

Education: Graduate; Diploma/Degree in Automobile, Mechanical or related field will be an advantage.

Experience:

- 3–10 years of experience in spare parts operations, preferably in a 4-wheeler automobile dealership.
- Experience with Toyota dealership operations or other reputed automobile brands will be preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive spare parts, inventory management and dealership processes.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of 4-wheeler automobile spare parts.
- Inventory and warehouse management skills.
- Procurement and vendor management.
- Team leadership and people management.
- Good analytical and MIS reporting skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities.
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel and dealership/DMS software.
- Target-oriented and commercially aware.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Candidate

Candidates with experience in Toyota, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Honda, Tata Motors, Mahindra, Kia, MG or other reputed 4-wheeler dealerships will be preferred.

Salary: As per experience and industry standards

Pay: ₹23,317.83 - ₹39,712.11 per month
