Daycare Coordinator – Job Description

Position: Branch Head
Location: Live & Learn Play School & Daycare
Timings: 9:00 AM – 5 PM (or as per requirement)

Branch Head – Roles & Responsibilities

Live & Learn Play School & Daycare

1. Centre Leadership & Operations Management

- Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the play school and daycare.
- Ensure smooth functioning of all classes, daycare rooms, and activity areas.
- Maintain a safe, hygienic, and child‑friendly workplace at all times.
- Ensure compliance with school policies, safety standards, and operational guidelines.

2. Academic & Curriculum Oversight

- Ensure teachers follow the school curriculum, lesson plans, and teaching methodology.
- Monitor classroom activities, teaching quality, and student engagement.
- Review academic planners, worksheets, and assessments before implementation.
- Support teachers in improving teaching techniques and classroom management.

3. Staff Management & Coordination

- Supervise teachers, daycare staff, caretakers, and support staff.
- Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
- Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing for school and daycare.
- Address staff concerns professionally and maintain a positive work culture.

4. Parent Communication & Relationship Management

- Serve as the primary point of contact for parents.
- Handle parent queries, concerns, feedback, and escalations.
- Conduct Parent‑Teacher Meetings (PTMs) and orientation sessions.
- Maintain transparent and timely communication with parents.

5. Admissions & Marketing Support

- Assist in school admissions, counselling parents, and conducting school tours.
- Maintain admission records,



enquiry logs, and follow‑up trackers.
- Support marketing activities, events, and promotional campaigns.
- Ensure high parent satisfaction and positive word‑of‑mouth.

6. Daycare Oversight

- Monitor daycare routines, food quality, hygiene, and safety.
- Ensure proper documentation of attendance, pickup/drop, and daily logs.
- Supervise homework support, activities, and rest schedules.
- Ensure children are handed over only to authorized guardians.

7. Safety, Compliance & Administration

- Oversee CCTV monitoring, visitor management, and emergency procedures.
- Maintain records such as attendance, health logs, incident reports, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and school policies.
- Coordinate with vendors, maintenance teams, and external service providers.

8. Event Planning & Execution

- Plan and manage school events such as:
- Annual Day
- Sports Day
- Festivals
- Theme‑based activities
- Ensure smooth execution with staff coordination and parent communication.

9. Financial & Resource Management

- Manage petty cash, procurement, and resource allocation.
- Ensure proper utilization of school materials, stationery, and supplies.
- Support management in budgeting and cost control.

10. Reporting & Coordination with Management

- Provide daily/weekly updates to the founders or management team.
- Share reports on admissions, attendance, staff performance, and operations.
- Implement management directives and ensure timely execution.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹15,000.00 per month

- Bachelor's (Preferred)
