Beam Saw Operator – Residential Interior Manufacturing

About the Role

We are an interior manufacturing company supporting residential interior projects. Our factory manufactures:

- Modular Kitchens
- Wardrobes
- TV Units
- Crockery Units
- Storage Units
- Bedroom Furniture
- Other Modular Residential Furniture

We are looking for an experienced Beam Saw Operator who can independently operate the beam saw/panel saw and handle accurate cutting of boards and panels as per production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate the Beam Saw / Panel Saw for production cutting.
- Cut plywood, MDF, HDHMR and other board materials as per cutting lists.
- Understand and follow cutting lists and production drawings.
- Verify material type, thickness, dimensions and quantity before cutting.
- Set cutting dimensions accurately on the machine.
- Ensure accurate and consistent panel sizes.
- Minimise material wastage through proper cutting practices.
- Identify damaged, warped or defective boards before cutting.
- Maintain proper identification and segregation of cut components.
- Ensure cut components are labelled and organised for further production.
- Coordinate with the CNC, edge-banding and production teams.
- Inform the Floor In-Charge about material shortages, cutting issues or machine problems.
- Maintain machine cleanliness and basic housekeeping.
- Perform basic daily machine checks and report maintenance requirements.
- Follow all factory safety procedures.

Quality Responsibilities

The operator must ensure:

- Correct dimensions




- Accurate cutting
- Clean and proper cuts
- Minimum chipping/damage
- Correct quantity
- Correct material and thickness
- Proper identification of components

Any cutting error that can lead to CNC problems, edge-banding issues, assembly problems or material wastage should be identified before the material moves to the next stage.

Required Skills

- 2–5 years of experience operating Beam Saw / Panel Saw.
- Experience in modular furniture / residential interior manufacturing preferred.
- Good knowledge of plywood, MDF and HDHMR.
- Ability to understand cutting lists and measurements.
- Basic understanding of furniture production drawings.
- Positive knowledge of machine settings and cutting operations.
- Strong attention to accuracy and material wastage.
- Ability to work according to daily production targets.
- Basic maintenance awareness is an advantage.

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a practical, experienced Beam Saw Operator from the furniture/interior manufacturing industry.

Experience specifically in manufacturing modular kitchens, wardrobes and residential interior furniture will be preferred over general industrial machine experience.

The candidate should understand that accurate beam-saw cutting is the first and critical stage of modular furniture production, and errors at this stage can affect the entire production process.

Compensation

₹22,000–₹30,000 per month, depending on experience and machine knowledge.

A highly experienced operator who can independently manage cutting, optimise material usage and maintain excellent accuracy can be considered for a higher salary.

Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
