We’re Hiring | Assistant Manager - Seed Warehouse & Operations

Doctor Seeds Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a hands-on, responsible and execution-oriented Assistant Manager to take ownership of our seed warehouse and processing operations.

This is a senior operational role. We are looking specifically for someone who has previously worked in a seed company/seed warehouse or seed processing facility and understands the practical procedures involved.

Candidates without seed-industry experience will not be considered. Freshers are not eligible.

Key Responsibilities

- Take complete ownership of day-to-day warehouse & processing operations
- Manage seed inward, outward, processing, packaging, storage and dispatch
- Plan daily manpower deployment and assign supervisors/workers to locations and activities
- Personally monitor ground-level operations and ensure work is executed properly
- Maintain accurate stock, lot-wise records, movement registers and operational documentation
- Conduct regular stock checks, audits and reconciliation
- Ensure proper seed handling, stacking, storage and lot traceability
- Manage manpower, machinery and processing activities efficiently




- Identify operational gaps and implement practical systems and improvements
- Coordinate with management and other teams to ensure timely execution

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

✅ Has minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in seed warehouse/seed processing operations
✅ Understands seed-company procedures, warehouse systems and processing workflows
✅ Is a solid team player and people manager
✅ Can plan the day's work, allocate responsibilities and hold the team accountable
✅ Has strong leadership, discipline and execution skills
✅ Takes full ownership and responsibility for the warehouse and its operations
✅ Has the mindset to proactively identify and solve problems
✅ Is strong in documentation, stock auditing, inventory control and operational discipline

MBA (Agri Business Management) or a relevant agriculture/management background will be preferred.

Salary: As per industry standards, based on experience.
