Job Description

- Job Objective:

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to set up, troubleshoot and carry out Preventive Maintenance activities. He will ensure the efficient running of Solar Module Plant machines. A great maintenance technician is reliable and able to work with attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training will be provided along with classroom training. Willingness to learn and improvement is required.

Job Description:

- Trouble shooting of machines for smooth operation activity.

- Knowledge of various types of Vacuum pump, Oil Pump, Air Blower, Different types of Gear box.

- Working knowledge of Pneumatics & Hydraulics.

- Basic knowledge of using various measuring instruments like Pressure Gauge, Micrometer, Vernier Caliper, Filler Gauge etc.

- Basic knowledge of troubleshooting mechanical problem in machine.

- Able to do mechanical setting change of Different machine related to Solar PV Module line like, Stringer, Framing, Auto bussing etc.

- Fix issues that might occur during the shift

- Maintain activity logs and required check sheets

Work Experience:

- Proven hands-on experience of minimum 2 years in solar module manufacturing plant.

- Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery (Stringer, Auto bussing, Laminator & Framing, Sun Simulator etc.) and measurement tools (Vernier caliper, micrometer, multimeter, clamp meter, dial gauge, filler gauge etc.).

- Understanding of maintenance procedures, 5s and material handling.





- Knowledge of repairing of Mechanical Spare Parts in Tool Room will be desirable.

Qualification & Certification Required:

3 years Diploma in Mechanical

Knowledge, Skills, & Technology Platform:

- Adherence to health and safety regulations.

- Ability to read Hindi and English.

- Analytical skills.

- Willing to work in shift.

- Should be Punctual & disciplined and can maintain floor decorum.

- Attention to detail given by Superiors.

- Teamwork and communication skills.

- Eye vision level should be 6/6.

1. Availability of assigned section

- To attend Breakdown Jobs 100%

- To attend PM Jobs 100%

2. Improvement projects

- To implement 3 Improvement projects for cost reduction

3. Safety

- Near miss capturing, Unsafe act and unsafe condition identification & safety improvements.

4. 5s and Housekeeping

- No non-Conformance

Need Based Activities:

- Provide proper induction to the onboard recent associate.

- Give required training to the new associates regarding Tabber & Stringer operation.

- Follow all safety related protocols on the shop floor and must wear appropriate personal protective equipment and ensure a safe working environment.

- Communicate and train production associates about AVAADA production requirements.
