Company: Trusted Communities Pvt Ltd

Location: Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India

Employment Type: Full time, On-Site

Experience: 1.5–3 years

About Us

Trusted Communities is the back-office operations arm supporting a US-based client. Our team handles the technology, finance, and operations that keep the business running smoothly (remotely), from our Gandhinagar office. We're building a lean, AI-forward Finance team.

Role Summary

This is primarily an accounting role, split across two areas of work:

- US Accounting — day-to-day bookkeeping for our US-based client in QuickBooks Online: recording transactions, accounts receivable, accounts payable, vendor coordination, and reconciliations.
- Indian Accounting & Compliance — maintaining books, GST and TDS filings, and payroll-related compliance for our Indian entity.

This role is best suited to someone who's genuinely curious about how AI tools can make accounting faster and more accurate, communicates confidently in English, and wants to build a long-term career in US and Indian accounting.

This role covers two distinct areas rather than one narrow specialization - that's intentional, and it's what makes the role interesting for the right person. You won't be doing either in isolation, and you'll have a predictable weekly rhythm rather than constant context-switching. If you enjoy accounting more broadly rather than a single narrow track, this is built for you.

Key Responsibilities

US Accounting

- Record day-to-day transactions in QuickBooks Online and ensure accurate classification
- Perform bank and account reconciliations

- Coordinate with vendors on pricing, invoicing, and delivery confirmation
- Maintain organized, audit-ready financial documentation

Indian Accounting & Compliance

- Maintain day-to-day books of accounts for the Indian entity
- Prepare and file monthly GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) & TDS returns
- Support payroll processing and statutory payments (PF, PT)
- Coordinate with our external CA/CS for statutory filings and year-end requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field. Practical, hands-on experience in both areas is important
- Working knowledge of US bookkeeping practices; comfort with QuickBooks Online (or demonstrated ability to learn quickly)
- Working knowledge of Indian GST and TDS compliance, and exposure to payroll/statutory processes
- Strong written and verbal English communication
- Genuine interest in AI tools and automation — you'll be expected to use and help improve AI-assisted workflows in day-to-day accounting work, not just tolerate them

What Will Make You Stand Out

- CA-Inter (or equivalent) background with practical filing experience. Hands-on compliance exposure matters more than the credential
- Prior experience with both a US-facing accounting process and Indian GST/TDS filing, even if gained in different roles
- Curiosity about AI tools and how they can be applied to accounting workflows
- Comfort picking up new software and systems quickly

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
