About GD Productions
GD Productions is a creative digital marketing and media production company working with brands and businesses across Social Media Marketing, Reels, YouTube, Photography, Videography, Video Editing, Graphic Design, VFX and Digital Content Creation.
We are looking for a Freelance Video Editor who can work remotely and create engaging, professional-quality content for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Edit Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and social media videos.
- Edit promotional, corporate and advertisement videos.
- Create engaging edits with strong storytelling and pacing.
- Add subtitles, transitions, sound effects, music and basic motion graphics.
- Perform basic colour correction and audio enhancement.
- Convert raw footage into engaging short-form content.
- Follow current Instagram and YouTube editing trends.
- Make revisions based on client requirements.
- Deliver projects within the agreed deadline.
- Maintain good communication with the GD Productions team.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Knowledge of After Effects is an advantage.
- Experience in Instagram Reels / YouTube Shorts editing.
- Good understanding of social media video formats.
- Solid sense of timing,
storytelling and visual composition.
- Basic knowledge of colour correction, sound design and motion graphics.
- Ability to work independently from home.
- Good communication and time-management skills.
Work From Home Requirements
- Own high-performance PC/Laptop suitable for video editing.
- Stable and reliable high-speed internet connection.
- Required editing software and plugins.
- Ability to receive and upload large video files.
- Dedicated workspace and ability to meet deadlines.
