About the Role

We are looking for an SEO Intern who already has a basic understanding of SEO and wants practical experience working on real client projects.

This is not a complete beginner training role. You should already be familiar with basic SEO concepts such as keyword research, on-page optimization, content structure, and search engine fundamentals.

You will work closely with the team to assist with SEO execution, content optimization, research, reporting, and basic technical SEO tasks.

Key Responsibilities

1. Keyword Research & Planning

- Conduct basic keyword research using SEO tools
- Identify primary and secondary keywords
- Assist with competitor keyword analysis
- Support content and keyword planning

2. On-Page SEO

- Optimize blog articles and website content
- Assist with meta titles and meta descriptions
- Implement internal linking
- Optimize images and URLs
- Structure content using proper H1, H2, and H3 headings

3. Content SEO

- Assist in writing SEO-friendly blogs when required
- Optimize existing and AI-generated content for SEO
- Maintain natural and appropriate keyword usage
- Improve content structure, readability, and search intent alignment

4. Basic Technical SEO

- Assist with sitemap and indexing checks




- Monitor Google Search Console
- Identify basic SEO issues
- Assist the SEO team in resolving issues under supervision

5. Reporting & Tracking

- Track keyword rankings
- Assist with weekly SEO reports
- Monitor basic website traffic and performance
- Maintain SEO tracking sheets and reports

Requirements

- Prior SEO internship, course, freelance, or practical project experience is preferred
- Basic understanding of:
- On-page SEO
- Keyword research
- Search intent
- Internal linking
- Meta titles & descriptions
- H1/H2/H3 content structure
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ubersuggest, SEMrush, or Ahrefs
- Basic understanding of SEO-friendly content writing
- Good written English
- Comfortable working with Google Sheets/Excel
- Familiarity with AI writing tools is a plus
- Willingness to learn and take ownership of assigned task

Stipend - ₹5,000 – ₹8,000 per month, [based on skills and experience]
