We are seeking an experienced SAP Field Service Management (FSM) Consultant to support implementation, integration, enhancement, and application-support activities for SAP FSM integrated with SAP S/4HANA Asset Management / Plant Maintenance and/or Service Management.

The consultant will work across functional process design, FSM configuration, S/4HANA integration, SAP BTP connectivity, interface monitoring, and issue resolution. The ideal candidate understands field-service execution from work-order creation through planning, dispatch, mobile technician confirmation, materials/time capture, and synchronization back to S/4HANA.

SAP FSM supports field-service planning, technician scheduling and mobile execution, while standard SAP integration scenarios connect it with S/4HANA processes and data. Key responsibilities

- Configure and support SAP Field Service Management business processes, including planning, dispatch, service activities, technician assignment, skills, zones, service workflows, and mobile execution.
- Design and support integration between SAP FSM and SAP S/4HANA Asset Management / Plant Maintenance, S/4HANA Service Management, or ECC PM/CS, as applicable.
- Configure and monitor standard FSM Connector integration scenarios using SAP Integration Suite / SAP Cloud Integration.
- Support replication and synchronization of business partners, employees/technicians, equipment, functional locations, materials/products, service orders, maintenance orders, operations, confirmations, attachments, and related master data.
- Troubleshoot interface failures, message-processing errors, authentication issues, payload errors, duplicate records, replication gaps, and master-data mapping issues.
- Work with SAP Cloud Connector, destinations, certificates, OAuth/security configuration, SAP Cloud Integration iFlows, RFC connectivity, SOAP/OData APIs, and technical monitoring.
- Collaborate with S/4HANA PM/EAM, Service, MM, Finance, BASIS, security, ABAP, BTP, and mobility teams.
- Analyse functional requirements and identify whether a requirement can be addressed through standard FSM configuration, integration mapping, ABAP enhancement, or a side-by-side BTP extension.
- Support ABAP technical teams for S/4HANA enhancements involving BAdIs, BAPIs,



RFCs, OData services, custom fields, CDS views, and data replication.
- Develop or support FSM UI extensions, widgets, or custom applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, SAPUI5, HTML, and CSS where required.
- Work with REST APIs, JSON payloads, API testing tools, and standard FSM APIs/SDKs.
- Prepare functional specifications, technical specifications, interface mapping documents, test scripts, deployment checklists, knowledge-transfer material, and operational support documentation.
- Participate in SIT, UAT, cutover, hypercare, and L2/L3 production support.

Required skills and experience

- 4+ years of SAP functional, technical, or integration experience.
- Hands-on experience in SAP Field Service Management (SAP FSM), including implementation, configuration, integration, or support.
- Solid knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Asset Management / Plant Maintenance (EAM/PM) and/or SAP S/4HANA Service Management.
- Experience with field-service processes such as work-order creation, planning, dispatch, technician assignment, mobile execution, time confirmation, material consumption, checklists, attachments, and completion confirmation.
- Experience integrating SAP FSM with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, or SAP Business Suite.
- Working knowledge of SAP Integration Suite / SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), iFlows, message monitoring, API integrations, error handling, and security artifacts.
- Understanding of SAP BTP Cloud Connector, secure connectivity, virtual host mapping, certificates, destinations, and technical-user setup. SAP describes Cloud Connector as the secure link between an on-premise S/4HANA landscape and the SAP BTP environment.sap
- Knowledge of APIs, REST, SOAP, OData, JSON, XML, OAuth 2.0, certificates, and integration troubleshooting.
- Experience working with S/4HANA objects such as maintenance orders, notifications, equipment, functional locations, operations, service orders, business partners, materials, and confirmations.




- Ability to prepare clear functional/technical documentation and work independently with global delivery teams.
- Strong English communication skills.

Preferred skills

- SAP S/4HANA EAM / PM implementation or support experience.
- SAP S/4HANA Service Management experience.
- SAP ABAP knowledge: BAPI, BAdI, RFC, IDoc, OData, CDS, Gateway, AIF, background jobs, and debugging.
- JavaScript or TypeScript experience for FSM extensions.
- SAPUI5 / Fiori development or extension experience.
- SAP CAP / Node.js / Java development experience on SAP BTP.
- Python experience for automation, API orchestration, or integration utilities.
- Experience with SAP Build Apps or low-code extensions.
- Experience with SAP Mobile Services, mobile applications, offline scenarios, Smartforms, digital checklists, or field technician mobility.
- Experience in SAP Integration Suite API Management, Event Mesh, Enterprise Messaging, or SAP Business Accelerator Hub.
- Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, Git, Postman, and API testing tools.
- SAP FSM, SAP S/4HANA Asset Management, SAP BTP, or SAP Integration Suite certifications.

What success looks like

- Reliable and monitored S/4HANA–FSM integration with clear error-handling procedures.
- Accurate replication of field-service and asset-management master/transaction data.
- Field technicians can execute assigned work in FSM with the required equipment, spare parts, forms, and work instructions.
- Confirmations, time, materials, status updates, and attachments synchronize correctly to S/4HANA.
- Functional and technical documentation is complete, reusable, and suitable for audit and support handover.
