Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage the day-to-day finance and accounting activities of a 20+ Ton/Day Rice Mill.

The candidate should have good knowledge of Tally/ERP, GST, TDS, bank reconciliation, stock accounting, purchase, sales, production accounting, and MIS reporting.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
- Maintain purchase, sales, receipt, payment, and journal entries.
- Verify paddy purchase bills, weighment details, supplier accounts, and payments.
- Maintain paddy, rice, broken rice, bran, husk, and other stock records.
- Reconcile physical stock with system/accounting records.
- Track daily production and milling recovery/yield.
- Coordinate with Production and Stores teams for stock and production data.
- Prepare daily Finance Status Reports.
- Monitor customer receivables and supplier payables.
- Prepare sales, purchase, expense, stock, and outstanding reports.
- Handle bank reconciliation and cash management.
- Verify electricity, diesel, transport, maintenance, labour, and other mill expenses.
- Support monthly closing and preparation of management reports.
- Coordinate with CA/tax consultants for GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Support payroll and employee salary-related accounting.
- Identify accounting, stock,



and financial variances and report them to management.
- Maintain proper documentation for audit and statutory requirements.

Required Skills

- Strong accounting knowledge.
- Experience in Tally / ERP.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of GST and TDS.
- Experience in inventory and stock reconciliation.
- Understanding of purchase, sales, and production accounting.
- Positive analytical and numerical skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in Rice Mill, Paddy Trading, Food Processing, Manufacturing, Agriculture Products, or similar industries will be preferred.
