Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Cloud Architect with 7–8 years of experience in data architecture, cloud data platforms, enterprise data integration, and Salesforce Data Cloud.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience designing scalable data architectures, integrating Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Data Cloud with enterprise data sources, and implementing data ingestion, transformation, governance, and security solutions across cloud environments.

The candidate should be comfortable working with distributed teams and supporting business requirements aligned with the Australian time zone (AEST/AEDT).

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement enterprise-grade data architectures using Salesforce Data Cloud and modern cloud data platforms.
- Develop and maintain data models, data flows, integration architectures, and data pipelines.
- Architect integrations between Salesforce CRM, Salesforce Data Cloud, and external enterprise systems.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT and data integration solutions for structured and unstructured data sources.
- Define strategies for data ingestion, transformation, harmonization, unification, and consumption within Salesforce Data Cloud.
- Work with APIs, REST/SOAP services, middleware, and integration frameworks to enable seamless data exchange.
- Design scalable solutions using AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).




- Develop and optimize data warehouse and analytical data solutions using strong SQL and data engineering principles.
- Define and implement data governance, data quality, security, privacy, access control, and compliance frameworks.
- Lead data migration and modernization initiatives involving large-scale enterprise data.
- Collaborate with Salesforce Architects, Data Engineers, Solution Architects, Developers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable and maintainable data architecture solutions.
- Identify data quality, integration, performance, and scalability issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Establish architectural standards, best practices, and documentation for enterprise data solutions.
- Support solution design, technical estimations, architecture reviews, and implementation planning.

- Experience integrating Salesforce Data Cloud with multiple enterprise data sources.
- Knowledge of data lake/lakehouse architectures.
- Experience with cloud-based ETL/ELT and data pipeline technologies.
- Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) and data quality frameworks.
- Experience with real-time or near-real-time data integration.
- Strong understanding of enterprise security and compliance principles.
- Salesforce Data Cloud / Salesforce certifications will be an advantage.

Required Experience

- 7–8 years of relevant experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Cloud Data Platforms, or Enterprise Data Integration.
- Demonstrable project experience with Salesforce Data Cloud is highly preferred/mandatory.
- Experience designing and implementing complex enterprise data integration architectures.
- Experience working with cross-functional technical and business teams.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
