A Computer Hardware and CCTV Technician installs, maintains, repairs, and troubleshoots computer systems, networking devices, and CCTV surveillance equipment. This role is common in IT support companies, security system providers, schools, hospitals, offices, factories, and retail businesses.

Job Profile

Computer Hardware Responsibilities

- Assemble and install desktop computers and workstations.
- Diagnose and repair hardware issues (motherboard, RAM, HDD/SSD, SMPS, CPU, etc.).
- Install and configure operating systems (Windows/Linux) and software.
- Upgrade hardware components and peripherals.
- Perform preventive maintenance and system cleaning.
- Troubleshoot printers, scanners, and other devices.
- Provide technical support to users.
- Biometric,VDP,Access control,Locks

CCTV Responsibilities

- Install CCTV cameras, DVRs/NVRs, and related equipment.
- Lay and terminate LAN/coaxial cables.
- Configure IP cameras and remote viewing on mobile phones and computers.
- Troubleshoot camera, recording, and network connectivity issues.
- Maintain surveillance systems and replace faulty components.
- Ensure proper camera placement and recording quality.

Required Skills

Educational Qualification

- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, CCNA (basic networking), or CCTV installation training can be an advantage.
