Key Responsibilities

- Provide individual and group career counselling to students.
- Assess students’ interests, aptitudes, abilities, personality and career aspirations.
- Guide students regarding subject and stream selection based on their strengths and future goals.
- Provide information about undergraduate and postgraduate courses, colleges, universities and career pathways in India and abroad.
- Assist students in understanding entrance examinations, eligibility criteria, application processes and admission timelines.
- Support students with college and course research and application planning.
- Conduct career awareness sessions, workshops, seminars and aptitude/career assessment programmes.
- Maintain updated information regarding emerging careers, educational institutions, scholarships and entrance examinations.
- Counsel students on academic, career and educational concerns while maintaining confidentiality.
- Coordinate with teachers, school leadership and parents regarding students’ career planning and progress.
- Conduct parent counselling sessions and provide appropriate recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of counselling sessions, assessments and student progress.
- Develop career-related resources, presentations and guidance materials for students.
- Support students in developing career readiness, decision-making, goal-setting and employability skills.




- Organise university/college interactions, career fairs, alumni interactions and expert sessions.
- Stay updated with changing trends in higher education, career opportunities and admission processes.
- Perform other counselling and student-support responsibilities assigned by the school management.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Career Counselling, Education or a related field.
- Diploma/Certification in Career Counselling or Guidance will be an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of career assessment tools and counselling techniques.

Experience

2–5 years of relevant experience in career counselling, school counselling, student guidance or educational counselling preferred.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
