ob Objective:
To design and develop a robotic hand from concept to functional prototype, including mechanical design, component selection, assembly, testing, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop a robotic hand/mechanical robotic system from scratch.
- Develop mechanical concepts, mechanisms, joints, linkages, and assemblies.
- Prepare 2D/3D designs using SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, AutoCAD or similar CAD software.
- Work on actuator, motor, gearbox, bearing, sensor and mechanical component selection.
- Develop prototypes and conduct functional testing and design improvements.
- Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis and material selection.
- Coordinate fabrication, machining, 3D printing and prototype assembly.
- Work closely with electronics/software/automation teams for integration of the complete robotic system.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues during development and testing.
- Prepare drawings, BOMs and technical documentation for manufacturing.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics or related discipline.
- Relevant experience in mechanical product development, robotics, automation, machine design or precision mechanisms.
- Robust knowledge of 3D CAD and mechanical design.
- Hands-on experience in prototype development will be preferred.
- Experience in robotics, robotic arms/hands, automation equipment or similar R&D; projects would be an advantage.
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
