Job Summary

At least 8 years of experience in planning tools like SAP APO/IBP

- Understanding data flows between IBP and ERP using CPI-DS or SAP Cloud Integration Suite. Hands-on experience creating data flows between SAP IBP and other systems using CPI-DS.
- Knowledge of scheduling planning runs, forecast jobs, and optimization jobs using templates and automation rules.
- Ability to define planning areas, key figures, master data types, time profiles, and versions. Solid hands-on experience using the Excel add-in for planning views, data entry, simulations, and what-if analysis
- Proficiency in KPI-driven monitoring, exception management, and proactive issue resolution.

Understanding of monthly/weekly planning cycles, demand-supply balancing, and consensus planning across stakeholdersConcepts of statistical forecasting, market intelligence integration, and demand sensing for short-term forecasting accuracy.Knowledge of constrained/unconstrained planning, sourcing rules, lead times, and inventory optimization. Understanding safety stock planning, service level targets, and multi-echelon inventory optimization.Concepts of time-series and order-based planning using finite resources,



and deployment planning.Vendor collaboration, customer collaboration, and using SAP IBP for real-time shared planning.

Proficiency in navigating apps like Manage Forecast Models, Manage Planning Books, and Application Jobs. Ability to configure and use forecasting algorithms (like exponential smoothing, ARIMA, etc.).Agile Methodologies
