Purpose of the Role

To plan, schedule, monitor, and coordinate production activities to ensure on-time delivery, optimum utilization of resources, inventory control, and smooth flow of materials from order receipt to dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Production Planning

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders and forecasts.
- Convert sales orders into production work orders.
- Develop machine-wise and process-wise production schedules.
- Balance production load across departments.
- Monitor adherence to production plans and revise schedules when required.

2. Material Planning & Coordination

- Review BOMs and production requirements.
- Coordinate with Purchase department for raw material availability.
- Track shortages and ensure timely procurement.
- Maintain optimum inventory levels of raw materials and bought-out items.
- Coordinate with stores for material issuance.

3. Production Monitoring

- Monitor daily production output against plan.
- Track bottlenecks and production delays.
- Coordinate with production supervisors to resolve scheduling issues.
- Follow up on pending jobs and expedite critical orders.
- Ensure smooth workflow between fabrication, welding, powder coating, assembly, and dispatch.

4. Capacity Planning





- Evaluate machine capacity and manpower availability.
- Identify capacity constraints and recommend corrective actions.
- Monitor machine utilization and production efficiency.
- Support planning for overtime and subcontracting requirements.

5. Order Tracking & Delivery Management

- Track customer order status from release to dispatch.
- Prepare order progress reports.
- Coordinate with Sales and Dispatch teams regarding delivery commitments.
- Ensure adherence to customer delivery schedules.

6. Inventory Control

- Monitor WIP (Work-In-Process) inventory.
- Control excess production and inventory accumulation.
- Support cycle counting and stock verification activities.
- Maintain production and inventory records.

7. Documentation & Reporting

- Generate daily production reports.
- Prepare production achievement reports.
- Maintain planning registers and tracking sheets.
- Update ERP/MRP systems with production status.
- Generate management MIS reports.

8. Continuous Improvement

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
