Job OverviewKey ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Financial Management

- Supervise, mentor, and direct the day-to-day operations of the accounting team (plant and corporate accountants).
- Oversee the end-to-end accounting processes, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll processing, and petty cash control.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L;, Cash Flow Statements) in compliance with applicable accounting standards.

Plant & Cost Accounting

- Oversee product costing, bill of materials (BOM) verification, yield analysis, and variance reporting (standard vs. actual cost).
- Manage physical inventory reconciliation, raw material stock valuation, finished goods inventory, and scrap accounting.
- Monitor overhead allocation, machine-hour/labor-hour rates, and factory operational expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Taxation, Audit & Compliance

- Ensure timely filing and compliance for GST, TDS/TCS, Income Tax, and other state/federal statutory returns.
- Coordinate internal, statutory, tax, and cost audits; handle queries and resolve audit observations effectively.




- Maintain strict adherence to internal financial controls, company policies, and statutory regulations.

Banking, Cash Flow & Treasury

- Manage working capital, monitor cash flow projections, and optimize fund utilization.
- Coordinate with banks for credit facilities, LC/BG issuance, loan processing, and documentation.
- Oversee customer credit limits, vendor payment cycles, and aged debt recovery.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Chartered Accountant (CA), ICWA/CMA, or Master’s Degree in Finance/Commerce (M.Com/MBA Finance).
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing plant/company (chemical, engineering, or industrial processing sectors preferred).
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of managing and developing a team of 3–8 accountants.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Advanced working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Tally Prime, Oracle, or equivalent manufacturing ERPs,ERPNEXT).
- Solid expertise in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, financial modeling).
- Compliance Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, Income Tax, TDS), factory cost accounting, and statutory requirements.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
