Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Staff Nurse with a minimum of 3+ years of clinical experience to join our multispecialty hospital. The candidate will be responsible for delivering safe, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care to patients across various specialties while maintaining high standards of clinical practice, patient safety, infection control, and documentation.

The ideal candidate should be clinically competent, patient-focused, and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced multispecialty hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients according to their clinical condition and individual care plans.

Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in their condition.

Administer medications, injections, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Perform nursing procedures such as IV cannulation, catheterization, wound dressing, specimen collection, and other procedures within scope of practice.

Monitor patients before and after diagnostic procedures, surgeries, and treatments.

Assist patients with activities of daily living while maintaining dignity, privacy, and comfort.

Provide appropriate care to patients across medical, surgical, critical-care, emergency, and specialty departments as assigned.

Clinical & Emergency Responsibilities

Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, treatments, and emergency interventions.





Recognize and promptly report deterioration in a patient's condition.

Respond effectively to medical emergencies and participate in BLS/CPR and emergency response procedures.

Ensure timely administration of medications and prescribed treatments.

Monitor patients requiring close observation and escalate abnormalities to the treating physician.

Documentation & Handover

Maintain accurate and complete nursing records, medication charts, treatment records, and patient documentation.

Ensure proper shift-to-shift handover of patient information.

Maintain confidentiality of patient information and medical records.

Document all nursing interventions and patient responses appropriately.

Infection Control & Patient Safety

Follow hospital infection-control policies and standard precautions.

Maintain proper hand hygiene and use PPE appropriately.

Follow medication-safety and patient-identification protocols.

Ensure safe handling, disposal, and storage of clinical materials.

Report incidents, medication errors, near misses, and other patient-safety concerns as per hospital policy.

Coordination & Teamwork

Coordinate with consultants, resident doctors, nursing teams, technicians, pharmacy, laboratory, and other hospital departments.





Communicate effectively with patients and their attendants regarding nursing care and treatment instructions.

Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and patient-care activities.

Support junior nurses and nursing assistants when required.

Qualifications & Eligibility

B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing / GNM from a recognized institution.

Valid registration with the State Nursing Council.

Minimum 3+ years of relevant clinical experience in a hospital setting.

Experience in a multispecialty hospital is preferred.

Candidates with experience in IP, ICU, Emergency, OT, Medical-Surgical Ward, Neurology, Orthopedics, Pediatrics, or other specialty departments will be preferred.

Basic computer/Hospital Information System (HIS) knowledge is desirable.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a professionally registered Staff Nurse with 3+ years of hospital experience, strong clinical knowledge, excellent patient-care skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Experience in a reputed multispecialty hospital and exposure to NABH standards will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
