Job description:

Job Title: GCP Platform Engineer
Experience: 4+ Years

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Platform Engineer to design, build, automate, and support scalable cloud-native platforms on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in infrastructure automation, serverless application deployment, Kubernetes platforms, cloud security, observability, and CI/CD implementation. This role will be responsible for enabling development teams through secure, reliable, and efficient cloud platform services while ensuring adherence to organizational governance and operational standards. Roles & Responsibilities:

- Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Develop and maintain reusable Infrastructure as Code (IaC) modules to support multi-setting deployments.
- Deploy, manage, and support applications on GCP serverless and container platforms, including: Cloud Run, Cloud Run Functions (Cloud Functions), App Engine, and Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Git-based workflows.
- Configure and manage IAM roles, service accounts, access controls, and Organization Policies to ensure secure cloud operations.
- Implement and maintain Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, dashboards, alerting policies, and operational observability solutions.
- Manage containerized workloads using Docker, Kubernetes.
- Support platform reliability, performance optimization, troubleshooting, and incident resolution activities.
- Collaborate with development, security, networking,



and operations teams to deliver scalable and secure cloud solutions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, deployment standards, and knowledge base articles.
- Implement cloud governance, security best practices, cost optimization, and compliance requirements across GCP environments.

- Exposure to SRE practices and platform reliability engineering.
- Cloud cost optimization (FinOps) experience.
- Understanding cloud security and compliance frameworks.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- GCP Certifications such as Associate Cloud Engineer.
