Key Responsibilities

- Set and optimize injection moulding machine parameters
- Monitor production quality and reduce rejection rates
- Troubleshoot moulding defects such as:
- Short shot
- Flash
- Sink marks
- Warpage
- Burn marks
- Conduct machine trials and current mould trials
- Improve cycle time and productivity
- Coordinate with tool room, maintenance, and quality departments
- Prepare process sheets and production reports
- Ensure safety and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Support preventive maintenance activities
- Train machine operators and technicians

Skills Required

- Knowledge of plastic materials and properties
- Understanding of mould design basics
- Injection moulding parameter setting
- Problem-solving and root cause analysis
- Quality tools (5 Why,



Fishbone, SPC)
- Familiarity with hydraulic/electric injection moulding machines
- Basic knowledge of CAD/CAM is an advantage

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Polymer Engineering / Mechanical Engineering
- CIPET qualifications such as:
- Diploma in Plastics Mould Technology (DPMT)
- Diploma in Plastics Technology (DPT)
