Medical Representative

About the Role

We are looking for a Medical Representative to drive field sales of our medtech screening device -a point-of-care device that simultaneously captures ECG and heart sound data in a single recording, enabling doctors to screen for arrhythmias, murmurs, valvular disease, and other cardiac abnormalities faster and more accurately than a stethoscope exam alone.

This is a field sales role where you will demo the device to cardiologists, pediatricians, general physicians, and hospital/clinic decision-makers across Bengaluru, convert them into paying customers, and support them through onboarding and adoption.

If you have a medical background, are comfortable demonstrating hardware and software to doctors, and enjoy the hunt of closing a sale, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

● Identify and prospect target customers — cardiologists, pediatric cardiologists, general physicians, diagnostic centers, and hospitals/clinics — for the device.

● Demo the device live, explaining how simultaneous ECG + heart sound capture improves screening accuracy and speed versus a stethoscope alone.

● Own the sales cycle end-to-end: lead generation, demos, price negotiation, and closing.

● Onboard current customers post-sale — train doctors and clinic staff on device usage and the companion app/software

● Conduct regular follow-ups with existing customers to drive repeat usage, upsells, and referrals.

● Coordinate with internal operations, clinical, and product teams on installation, support tickets, and feedback loops.





● Collect market feedback, competitor intel, and doctor requirements to inform product development.

● Represent the company at CMEs, cardiology conferences, medical exhibitions, and health screening camps.

● Meet monthly/quarterly sales targets for units sold or devices placed.

Qualifications

Required

● MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BDS, PharmD, BPT, Nursing, Life Sciences, or another healthcare-related degree.

● 0–3 years of experience in medical device sales, pharmaceutical sales, diagnostics sales, digital health, or clinical roles.

● Strong communication and presentation skills — comfortable demoing hardware and a mobile/web app to doctors.

● Comfortable with extensive field travel across Bengaluru, carrying and demonstrating a physical device.

● Valid two-wheeler and driving license preferred.

● Target-driven, with the ability to independently close sales.

Preferred

● Prior experience selling medical devices, diagnostic equipment, or digital health products to doctors or hospitals.

● Working knowledge of ECG, cardiac auscultation, or cardiology screening workflows.

● Experience in healthcare startups, medical devices, or digital therapeutics is an advantage.

● Language : Kannada, Hindi and English

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
