G M Fabrics is hiring "Jacquard/Dobby Technical Designer" for inhouse design team.

Work Location: Marol, Andheri(East)

Job Role:

- Design Development: Create intricate Jacquard designs using software like Vandewiele(weaving) and Nedgraphics for editing
- Technical Specifications: Develop weave structures, color separations, and yarn selections to ensure design feasibility.
- Loom Programming: Work closely with weaving technicians to program and troubleshoot Jacquard looms.
- Sampling & Testing: Oversee prototype production, analyze fabric performance, and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaboration: Coordinate with designers, manufacturers, and product developers to meet aesthetic and functional goals.

Education, Experience and Skills Required:





- Graduates/Diploma in Technical Textile Designing from reputed College.
- Experience of at least 6+ Years into jacquard or dobby
- Expertise in Jacquard design software (NedGraphics and Vandewiele)
- Knowledge of weave structures and textile construction
- Understanding of loom mechanics and digital weaving processes
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
