Test Lead – SAP FICO Testing

Location: Chennai
Work Mode: Chennai (WFO-5 Days)
Experience: 8+ Years

Key Responsibilities

- Lead functional testing activities across SAP Finance and Procurement processes.
- Plan, design, execute, and manage end-to-end testing activities.
- Lead testing for Accounts Payable (AP), Procurement, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.
- Work extensively with Purchase Requisitions (PR), Purchase Orders (PO), Goods Receipts (GR), Invoice Verification, and Payment Processing.
- Manage SIT and UAT activities and coordinate with business and project teams.
- Review test scenarios, test cases, scripts, and other test deliverables.
- Manage defects from identification through resolution and closure.
- Provide regular test status reports and communicate testing progress to stakeholders.
- Mentor and guide testers throughout the testing lifecycle.
- Support defect analysis and resolution in collaboration with functional and technical teams.
- Ensure end-to-end quality assurance across integrated SAP solutions.
- Work effectively in both Agile and Waterfall delivery environments.

Required Skills





- 8+ years of SAP FICO testing experience.
- Strong experience as an SAP FICO Test Lead.
- Mandatory SAP FICO Certification.
- Robust experience in the Utilities domain.
- Extensive knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP), Procurement, and P2P processes.
- Strong understanding of FI-MM integration.
- Hands-on experience with the complete Procure-to-Pay lifecycle.
- Strong knowledge of Payment Processing, F110 (Automatic Payment Program), and FBZP configuration.
- Experience with payment methods such as Cheque and BACS.
- Strong experience in SIT, UAT, test planning, test execution, and defect management.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience in utility-sector implementations or support projects is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
